The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. Federico Hanni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the game, one of Manantiales Fc:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Zbigniew Barowicz, was totally fooled by Mexico's Joel Gaona, who 97 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 101st minute, which Zbigniew Barowicz however easily saved by the left post. Federico Hanni kicked well hit freekick during the 102nd minute of the match. Mexico's Joel Gaona shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 102nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Zbigniew Barowicz but with some difficulty. The Mexico supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mexico would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
