Ludo Tieleman kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Robrecht Scheppers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 12th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristeo Campomanes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aristeo Campomanes in the 16th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Aristeo Campomanes sent off a good shot on target. Aristeo Campomanes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Aristeo Campomanes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 22nd minute. 28 minutes in the game Rolf Vissenaekens did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jimeno Acevedo. 29 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Aristeo Campomanes came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robrecht Scheppers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aristeo Campomanes in the 32nd minute. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robrecht Scheppers was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. After 36 minutes, Alex Mori mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the zvc fizikboys and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robrecht Scheppers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 42 minutes into the game, Aristeo Campomanes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Aristeo Campomanes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 3-0 became the score in the 46th minute when Aristeo Campomanes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Jose Correa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave zvc fizikboys the free kick. The supporters of zvc fizikboys booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Robrecht Scheppers managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Aristeo Campomanes sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ward Backers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Robrecht Scheppers in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robrecht Scheppers having to make a save. zvc fizikboys's Teo Vranckx was substituted for Ward Backers. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimeno Acevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 85th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, zvc fizikboys's Alex Mori got a free kick in the 87th minute. After 88 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Robrecht Scheppers in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 96 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Teo Vranckx came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Vranckx in the 96th minute of play.
