Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Piet Van Bostraeten hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute Ferdinand Weijnants shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Eddy Laporte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eddy Laporte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Eddy Laporte took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eddy Laporte's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 25thth minute of the game Eddy Laporte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. After having played for 33 minutes, Eddy Laporte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC Vliegplein's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eddy Laporte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patricio Costa scored 2-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teo De Jonge, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teo De Jonge read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rigoberto Mina during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of KFC Vliegplein booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdinand Weijnants might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ferdinand Weijnants ran back to his position shaking his head. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eddy Laporte was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, KFC Vliegplein's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Correa came free, but Teo De Jonge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. KFC Vliegplein's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Weijnants in the 57th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Octaaf Bosmans came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferdinand Weijnants in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Patricio Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teo De Jonge read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Eddy Laporte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 88th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddy Laporte in the 89th minute of play. After 90 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. The supporters of KFC Vliegplein booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferdinand Weijnants went, in the 99th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score.
