In the 17th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Erroman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Luz Tejedor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Apolo Erroman quite easily take care of the ball. After 19 minutes, Julian Murillo made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. La Vieja Guarida FC's Apolo Erroman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd minute Faustino Lizar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Apolo Erroman managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Peru's Julian Murillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 25 minutes of play, La Vieja Guarida FC's Faustino Lizar made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Yağızhan Korgan made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Faustino Lizar. Peru were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after La Vieja Guarida FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Luz Tejedor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Apolo Erroman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Faustino Lizar sent off a good shot on target. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Apolo Erroman. Apolo Erroman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yağızhan Korgan in the 86th minute of play. After some careless play in the La Vieja Guarida FC defense, Rafael Gallo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Apolo Erroman. The La Vieja Guarida FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Apolo Erroman should have stopped the shot. Raul Quinteros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rafael Gallo came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Gallo couldn't finish the play. Peru's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
