Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. Mark Forsberg hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. The supporters of AIF booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The excitement rose when AIF's Ulf Ekström after 7 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Venezuela's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 1-0. Jarl Andreasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Jonathan Venegas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jarl Andreasson quite easily take care of the ball. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jarl Andreasson. Jarl Andreasson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Alfred Sandström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alfred Sandström really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. Erik Odin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Erik Odin slotted it home off the left post making it 5-1 in the 29th minute. 37 minutes into the match, AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Jarl Andreasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfred Sandström in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Erik Odin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jarl Andreasson came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Jarl Andreasson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-3 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfred Sandström to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by AIF's Erik Odin. But to his dismay, Erik Odin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-3. 57 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Sandström came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jarl Andreasson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 60th minute. In the 60th minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of Jarl Andreasson. AIF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-4. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Erik Odin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Erik Odin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Jarl Andreasson made a huge save. The supporters of AIF booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Jarl Andreasson in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 76th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Ekström in the 77th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Odin came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jarl Andreasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AIF's Emanuel Månsson got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. AIF fully deserved thier win.
