Augusto Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julian Murillo scored 1-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Falcão Cunha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Milagros Fraga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Falcão Cunha made a huge save. Peru were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Gracie Barra's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. The corner ended in Luz Tejedor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gracie Barra's Falcão Cunha did a great save. The audience was convinced that Augusto Saldanha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 35th minute, Augusto Saldanha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 38 minutes into the game, Thiago Silvan threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Roland Danielsson kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After 44 minutes of play, Gracie Barra's Augusto Saldanha made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Augusto Saldanha to strike the kick off in the second half. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 52nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Milagros Fraga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Falcão Cunha quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 54th minute Augusto Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 played minutes Gracie Barra got a freekick which was hit by Thiago Silvan. In the 59th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Augusto Saldanha scored 2-3 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gracie Barra's Emanuel de Lara was substituted for Augusto Saldanha. Gracie Barra's Hugo de Queirós was substituted for Jamey Hankins. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Luz Tejedor notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Gracie Barra's Falcão Cunha. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Emanuel de Lara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
