Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kyle Davies took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicasio Barea in the 3rd minute of the match. After 9 played minutes Steelares FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicasio Barea. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Steelares FC's Emanuel Vasco. But to his dismay, Emanuel Vasco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Vasco came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeo Marcones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Steelares FC's Nicasio Barea in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Curacao's goalie prevented a goal. Nicasio Barea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. Nicasio Barea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, Amadeo Marcones cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 43 minutes, Emanuel Vasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Steelares FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Vasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 47 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Rocco Owen. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Emanuel Vasco made the kick off in the second half. Emanuel Vasco struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Bruno Barrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Steelares FC. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Troy Kennedy hit a great ball. Curacao's Kyle Davies got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Amadeo Marcones came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Steelares FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeo Marcones couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute Emanuel Vasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 minutes of play, Steelares FC's Amadeo Marcones made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Curacao's Lochlan Newman got a free kick in the 79th minute. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Stanley Wallace got a free kick in the 81st minute. Silvestre Adrio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Bruno Barrett made a huge save. Fabricio Ganix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvestre Adrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. In the 93rd minute of the match Jacobo Gartzi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Barrett skillfully saved the ball. Fabricio Ganix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Steelares FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Curacao throughout the match.
