The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mira Pene didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Julian Murillo succeeded in the game's 10th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Julian Murillo took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Mira Pene to make any attempt to save it. Anthony Alvarado kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Oktay Eğriöz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luz Tejedor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mira Pene having to interfere. Oktay Eğriöz might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oktay Eğriöz ran back to his position shaking his head. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oktay Eğriöz, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Mira Pene made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 33rd minute of play. Mira Pene didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Tomas Lucero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Peru's Luz Tejedor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mira Pene. Mira Pene yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oktay Eğriöz was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mira Pene was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Emmanuel Reyes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Emmanuel Reyes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mira Pene breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paso FC's goalkeeper Mira Pene, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. He walked away shaking his head. The supporters of Peru booed when Paso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Ellande didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Denis Rivas. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Rivas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mira Pene saved Paso FC from getting behind. In the 78th minute, Denis Rivas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rolando Noboa. The goal made the score 6-1. Mira Pene showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 89th minute of the match. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. The supporters of Paso FC booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emmanuel Reyes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denis Rivas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
