Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Robbe Stroobans started the match with the kick off. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Toldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute Suleiman Süleyman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Jose Carita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Suleiman Süleyman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peretu City 09's supporters rose to their feet, but Suleiman Süleyman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Cotilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francesco Toldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 34 minutes Peretu City 09's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abraham Alguacil who took care of the corner kick. 37 minutes into the match, Peretu City 09's Suleiman Süleyman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcos Cotilla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 41 minutes into the game, Suleiman Süleyman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jose Carita hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Suleiman Süleyman in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Carita to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Cotilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Suleiman Süleyman's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute, Suleiman Süleyman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Peretu City 09's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Francesco Toldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Panama's Alex Cambeiro got a free kick in the 71st minute. Peretu City 09 made a substitution. Marcial Abar replaced Suleiman Süleyman. In the 73rd match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Cambeiro to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peretu City 09's Nechifor Beșliu was substituted for Marcial Abar. A collision led to Peretu City 09 getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Marin Bosânceanu hit a great ball. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robbe Stroobans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Peretu City 09 booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dylan Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peretu City 09's Marin Bosânceanu got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute Nechifor Beșliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
