After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Arlo Arruta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 6th minute, Esquirla FC's Arlo Arruta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Arlo Arruta in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Arlo Arruta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arlo Arruta really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Arlo Arruta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Esquirla FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Arlo Arruta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arlo Arruta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arlo Arruta in the 24th minute. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Arlo Arruta tried to sneak it across the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Camilo Gaos threw the ball into play from the sideline. Esquirla FC's Benjamin Specht quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arlo Arruta in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arlo Arruta got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

A sloppy throw-in by Kristen Lijsens in the 51st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Jose Correa. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arlo Arruta in the 54th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Benjamin Specht managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esquirla FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Specht was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arlo Arruta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Esquirla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristen Lijsens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the game, Alfredo Bertran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esquirla FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Alfredo Bertran kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Esquirla FC's Alfredo Bertran tried to score from far away in the 77th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Benjamin Specht stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Benjamin Specht tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 82 minutes of play, Esquirla FC's Arlo Arruta made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arlo Arruta took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Esquirla FC fully deserved thier win.
