In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kiran Tomasini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zach Harrison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Luna took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Day. Marco Day dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Cassius Byrne put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Kiran Tomasini. Jorge Luna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. In the 34th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kiran Tomasini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Lang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cassius Byrne came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the USA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cassius Byrne couldn't finish the play. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Luna in the 44th minute of the match. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Luna in the 46th minute. When THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Jorge Luna in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye USA's goalie prevented a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cassius Byrne to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in THE ROKERY PIMKIS's zone, Cassius Byrne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kiran Tomasini came out of the goal and Cassius Byrne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Francisco Mino managed to get in a good position for a shot. THE ROKERY PIMKIS's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Mino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Lang in the 58th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Luna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Kiran Tomasini got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Cassius Byrne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. THE ROKERY PIMKIS made a substitution. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Edward Mcdonald managed to get in a good position for a shot. USA's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Mcdonald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kiran Tomasini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. Sam Campbell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Luna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Howard Archambault during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th match minute, THE ROKERY PIMKIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Howard Archambault to maneuver through the defense. If Sam Campbell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sam Campbell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiran Tomasini having to interfere. THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Kiran Tomasini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Baker in the 90th minute of play. After 91 minutes THE ROKERY PIMKIS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jenson Smith who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Diego Bradley managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 95th minute of the match THE ROKERY PIMKIS got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alessandro Finotti ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on THE ROKERY PIMKIS's corner Alessandro Finotti fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marco Day quite easily take care of the ball. USA were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
