The throw-in from Guillermo Mariano in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ≮Empire≯ 知否知否应是绿肥红瘦's 狄岩云. 37 minutes into the game, Guillermo Mariano threw the ball into play from the sideline. ≮Empire≯ 知否知否应是绿肥红瘦's 狄岩云 quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. 傅明誉 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
