Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from He Chen Yong in the 11th minute of play. Marta Rey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Marta Rey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 24 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marta Rey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Artur Senna showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. A throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game was made by Primitivo Andino with Felix Montenegro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marta Rey was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. In the 57th minute Fesport FC were awarded a corner. Lico Pareja went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 57th minute, Johan Ekerot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The audience was convinced that Gong Chao Feng's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Gong Chao Feng's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute of the match Fesport FC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lico Pareja ran over to the corner to take the kick. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Fesport FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
