Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franklin Montenegro was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. In the 7th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. A.D Garotos do Vale's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 9th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, A.D Garotos do Vale's Nelson Penha ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 19 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clemente Machado. A throw-in in the 28th minute of the game was made by Túlio Tinoco with Sidney Castro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 30th match minute, A.D Garotos do Vale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adhemar Koehler to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 31 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Machado in the 33rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, A.D Garotos do Vale's Túlio Tinoco got a free kick in the 34th minute. After 36 played minutes A.D Garotos do Vale got a freekick which was hit by Túlio Tinoco. In the 41stth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.D Garotos do Vale's Franklin Montenegro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clemente Machado. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a A.D Garotos do Vale's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, A.D Garotos do Vale's Sidney Castro tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clemente Machado to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Machado came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A.D Garotos do Vale's Clemente Machado got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Sidney Castro came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Ronaldinho Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by A.D Garotos do Vale's Clemente Machado. But to his dismay, Clemente Machado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 92nd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A.D Garotos do Vale were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
