In the 4th minute, Semi Yaltır hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonard Olejasz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 5th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fabinho Bittencourt. Apat Reina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jovica Zeković in the 7th minute of play. Leonard Olejasz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabinho Bittencourt in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by August Högman in the 19th minute of play forced Retumbante FC's goalkeeper Apat Reina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 25 minutes, José Paulo Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Retumbante FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Paulo Mendonça was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabinho Bittencourt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Leonard Olejasz made a huge save. Apat Reina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Semi Yaltır's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Apat Reina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Saraiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Jovica Zeković kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Leonard Olejasz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Paulo Mendonça in the 52nd minute of play. Elivélton do Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Apat Reina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Fernando Mota lost his temper 56 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Retumbante FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Gustavo FPRMZ:s goal. Retumbante FC:s Apat Reina showed great skill when he stopped Júlio Saraiva:s penalty. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Retumbante FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Agostinho Moraes was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Gustavo FPRMZ's players had a chance to rest. In the 59th match minute, FC Gustavo FPRMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Saraiva to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elivélton do Nascimento got free with Apat Reina in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69thth minute of the game Kauã Mandrak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Gustavo FPRMZ's Leonard Olejasz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jovica Zeković's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Apat Reina firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jovica Zeković received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Apat Reina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jovica Zeković's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Apat Reina firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Kauã Mandrak came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Retumbante FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kauã Mandrak couldn't finish the play. If Jovica Zeković had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Retumbante FC's Apat Reina got control of the ball when Jovica Zeković tried to sneak it across the goal line.
