In the 26th match minute, Castanheiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Toscano to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Rodolfo Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apat Reina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kauã Mandrak's late challenge caught a Castanheiro SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kauã Mandrak helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 played minutes Retumbante FC got a freekick which was hit by Kauã Mandrak. 35 minutes into the match, Alfredo Stefano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Apat Reina. Retumbante FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredo Stefano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Retumbante FC's Apat Reina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Stefano in the 41st minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Retumbante FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robben Spoelberchs came free, but Apat Reina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Robben Spoelberchs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Apat Reina. Retumbante FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robben Spoelberchs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The Retumbante FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Castanheiro SC were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Paulo Mendonça stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Retumbante FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Castanheiro SC:s goal. Apat Reina had in the 55thth minute some difficulties stopping Alfredo Stefano's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 55th minute, Alfredo Stefano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Castanheiro SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 59th minute, Kauã Mandrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Castanheiro SC made a substitution. Jânio Sanches replaced Alfredo Stefano. In the 60th match minute, Retumbante FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kauã Mandrak to maneuver through the defense. Jânio Sanches recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kauã Mandrak got his second yellow card in the match during the 61st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 62 played minutes Retumbante FC got a freekick which was hit by Kauã Mandrak. The long shot by Fernando Toscano in the 63rd minute really tested Apat Reina's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 72 minutes into the match, Retumbante FC's goalkeeper Apat Reina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 陶渊伟. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Belmiro Mello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Retumbante FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Belmiro Mello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wincent Dropinski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jânio Sanches could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Apat Reina made a huge save. Apat Reina came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Castanheiro SC's Jânio Sanches. But to his dismay, Jânio Sanches quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 92 minutes into the game, Fabinho Bittencourt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Retumbante FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Castanheiro SC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Retumbante FC's Fabinho Bittencourt got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Apat Reina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robben Spoelberchs in the 93rd minute of the match. Apat Reina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jânio Sanches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute of the match, Robben Spoelberchs got a very nice opportunity to score, but Apat Reina was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fabinho Bittencourt hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Apat Reina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manfredo Quirino in the 99th minute. After having played for 100 minutes, Manfredo Quirino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castanheiro SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manfredo Quirino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Castanheiro SC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
