The Academia Santista CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gu Zhan Wei should have stopped the shot. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gu Zhan Wei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edgard Nóbrega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Pirani in the 35th minute of the match. Academia Santista CIMZ's Gu Zhan Wei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Zuasnabar in the 37th minute of play. Gu Zhan Wei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Modesto Zuasnabar went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 44 minutes, Jorge Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia Santista CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Pirani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Fenato futebol clube getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Luís Guilherme Gaspar hit a great ball. The supporters of Academia Santista CIMZ booed when Fenato futebol clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Guilherme Gaspar didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felipe Nerio to make the kick off. Gu Zhan Wei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vlad Chiriță, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Fabiano Di Rocco made in the 67th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Modesto Zuasnabar immediately put the ball in play. Gu Zhan Wei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Zuasnabar in the 77th minute of the match. Gu Zhan Wei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belmiro Capixaba, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 81 played minutes Fenato futebol clube got a freekick which was hit by Walmyr Madureira.
