Jorge Campos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burak Onal in the 19th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Glauco Negri in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lütfi Kutlubay saved Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa from getting behind. Macaco F.C.'s Jorge Campos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Macaco F.C. from getting a goal against them. Jorge Campos came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's João Carlos Mesquita. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chiquinho Pombal couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
