With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boguslaw Makarewicz in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Régis de Queirós saved Palmeiras from getting behind. In the 7th minute, Boguslaw Makarewicz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Régis de Queirós. The goal made the score 1-0. Régis de Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boguslaw Makarewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remigiusz Paciuszko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Donato in the 13th minute of the match. One of Palmeiras:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mestre GG:s goal. In the 27th minute Orlando Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Régis de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Boguslaw Makarewicz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Régis de Queirós. That made the score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. Orlando Melo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Régis de Queirós having to make a save. Mestre GG's Remigiusz Paciuszko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Carlos Simões in the 32nd minute of play. But to his dismay, Boguslaw Makarewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Mestre GG's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
