When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Zico Galo sped through Palmeiras's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Régis de Queirós. With a little luck, Velho Barreiro FC's Iker Hidalgo got control of the ball when Luke Clist tried to sneak it across the goal line.
