An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferid Eker in the 8th minute of play forced Macaco F.C.'s goalkeeper Jorge Campos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Campos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferid Eker in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute of the match Velho Barreiro FC got a corner. Macaco F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Michel Siqueira ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jorge Campos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zico Galo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After a rather tough play, Velho Barreiro FC's Ferid Eker got a free kick in the 14th minute. If Ingars Miders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. Macaco F.C.'s Jorge Campos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zico Galo in the 46th minute of play. Michel Siqueira made a great header on Velho Barreiro FC's corner, it was just that Macaco F.C.'s Jorge Campos managed to reach the ball for a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ingars Miders was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Ferid Eker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Velho Barreiro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferid Eker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Campos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iker Hidalgo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingars Miders, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The supporters of Macaco F.C. booed when Velho Barreiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferid Eker didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iker Hidalgo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leonardo Gaúcho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Jorge Campos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Carlos Penha kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 86th match minute, Velho Barreiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zico Galo to maneuver through the defense. Ioan Mavrodin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Hidalgo having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Macaco F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zico Galo came free, but Jorge Campos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonardo Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Campos having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Haciqämbär Carabajal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bai Ang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Velho Barreiro FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
