The referee ignored Palmeiras's protests and gave Cristian Mello a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Palmeiras's Cristian Mello got a free kick in the 5th minute. Dolfo Burgo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luke Clist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Cristian Mello in the 17th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Dedê Moura. Dolfo Burgo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Bastos, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute of the game Waldemar Jacinto made a throw-in which Leonardo Donato played forward. If José Carlos Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Palmeiras's Leonardo Donato got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Délio Zanette's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Régis de Queirós firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tarcisio Reis scored 0-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dolfo Burgo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Régis de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flóki Factor in the 59th minute of play. Flóki Factor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Régis de Queirós having to interfere. Flóki Factor struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Régis de Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®. Waldemar Jacinto made in the 81st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luke Clist. Palmeiras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tarcisio Reis in the 83rd minute. If Flóki Factor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96thth minute of the game Flóki Factor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palmeiras's Régis de Queirós was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Palmeiras's performance. The match ended with a win for Palmeiras.
