Ferid Eker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Lütfi Kutlubay made a huge save. Lütfi Kutlubay made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Ferid Eker sent off a good shot on target. If Thibault Delanoë had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 11th minute Thibault Delanoë shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Hidalgo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferid Eker's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lütfi Kutlubay firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Lütfi Kutlubay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panagiotis Stamatas in the 27th minute of play. Thibault Delanoë might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iker Hidalgo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thibault Delanoë ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Velho Barreiro FC defense, Thibault Delanoë kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iker Hidalgo. The Velho Barreiro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iker Hidalgo should have stopped the shot. Lütfi Kutlubay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naldo Guerra in the 40th minute of the match. Luciano Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Thibault Delanoë sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's goal looked a bit too open when Naldo Guerra came free, but Lütfi Kutlubay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Velho Barreiro FC's Naldo Guerra in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 68th minute, Zico Galo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Velho Barreiro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Zico Galo took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lütfi Kutlubay. Lütfi Kutlubay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Velho Barreiro FC's Leonardo Gaúcho was substituted for Ferid Eker. In the 79th match minute, Velho Barreiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vânderson Carioca to maneuver through the defense. Thibault Delanoë fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Hidalgo having to interfere. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa made a substitution. Zanko Shosev replaced João Carlos Mesquita. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Mateus Salles was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Iker Hidalgo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Gaúcho in the 95th minute of play forced Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's goalkeeper Lütfi Kutlubay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Velho Barreiro FC were the better team. Velho Barreiro FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
