José Carlos Simões started the match with the kick off. Luiz Fabiano Sena might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Régis de Queirós. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiz Fabiano Sena ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 3rd minute Luiz Fabiano Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Régis de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Bizard FC booed when Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Mello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luke Clist kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Régis de Queirós stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Fabiano Sena's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Bizard FC were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Palmeiras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guga Zaracho took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Guga Zaracho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Régis de Queirós quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 14 minutes into the match, Bizard FC's goalkeeper Ademar Fernandes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luke Clist. In the 14th minute, Palmeiras's Luke Clist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ademar Fernandes. Ademar Fernandes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Fabiano Sena in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Régis de Queirós saved Palmeiras from getting behind. Bizard FC's Ademar Fernandes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Bizard FC from getting a goal against them. 42 minutes into the match, Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fabiano Sena came free, but Régis de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Fabiano Sena struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Régis de Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bizard FC. The audience was convinced that Luiz Fabiano Sena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Régis de Queirós was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Bizard FC's Adriano Costa was substituted for Caco Damião. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luiz Fabiano Sena made a kick off. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ademar Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Carlos Simões, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Régis de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guga Zaracho in the 86th minute of play. Ademar Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luke Clist in the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute of the game Cristian Mello made a throw-in which Tarcisio Reis played forward.
