The audience thought a goal was coming when Urban Stenman got free with Lucas De Gea in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A well-hit corner resulted in Fellipe Lago heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Club Sacode Football CIMZ were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Barrenta SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Brandur Hendrickson took the corner. After 46 minutes, Alberto Velasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Sacode Football CIMZ and the Barrenta SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alberto Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Club Sacode Football CIMZ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberto Velasco made a kick off. Edgar Trigo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Tastzian in the 74th minute of play forced Club Sacode Football CIMZ's goalkeeper Lucas De Gea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Club Sacode Football CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Genílson Leite came free, but Lucas De Gea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Trigo made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Alberto Velasco sent off a good shot on target. Club Sacode Football CIMZ were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Barrenta SC's much stronger midfield.
