Yuri da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sulev Antsov in the 16th minute of play. Iker Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel de Godoi in the 19th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Abel de Godoi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Iker Yashin. The goal made the score 1-0. After 26 played minutes Bruce Lee F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sulev Antsov. A collision led to Bruce Lee F.C. getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Tomás Faria hit a great ball. Yuri da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Augusto do Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute of the match Bruce Lee F.C. got a corner. Olivedos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luís Guilherme Gaúcho ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Bruce Lee F.C.'s Luís Guilherme Gaúcho to fire away a dangerous shot which Yuri da Cunha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Zé Augusto do Nascimento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yuri da Cunha was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Olivedos's zone, Lauro Carneiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yuri da Cunha came out of the goal and Lauro Carneiro tried to chip the ball over his head. After 43 minutes, Zé Augusto do Nascimento made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Olivedos's Yuri da Cunha tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 46 minutes of play, Bruce Lee F.C.'s Sulev Antsov made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yuri da Cunha was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

If Abel de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yuri da Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio de Senna in the 76th minute of the match. Abel de Godoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bruce Lee F.C.'s Slavyan Geranov was substituted for Jano Paes. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sulev Antsov in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yuri da Cunha saved Olivedos from getting behind. Bruce Lee F.C. were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Olivedos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luís Guilherme Gaúcho took the corner. Olivedos succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Bruce Lee F.C. had controlled the match.
