The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to ITAFUT 4EVER getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Evelio Rico hit a great ball. In the 5th of the match, Magno Sampaio tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Nilson Peres got in the way and made a wonderful save. Olivedos were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after ITAFUT 4EVER's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luisinho Ceresso took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Cássio Ferraz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nilson Peres quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olivedos's goalkeeper Abelardo Maranhense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of ITAFUT 4EVER booed when Olivedos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Novaes didn't get a good kick on the ball. ITAFUT 4EVER's Nilson Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel de Godoi in the 17th minute of play. José Sand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexsandro da Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexsandro da Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ITAFUT 4EVER booed when Olivedos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexsandro da Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Sebastião Henriques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, ITAFUT 4EVER's goalkeeper Nilson Peres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abel de Godoi. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Sand in the 45th minute of play forced Olivedos's goalkeeper Abelardo Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean-Paul Møffelmand made a great header on ITAFUT 4EVER's corner, it was just that Olivedos's Abelardo Maranhense managed to reach the ball for a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Nilson Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel de Godoi in the 82nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Durval Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot. ITAFUT 4EVER's supporters rose to their feet, but Durval Nascimento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Maranhense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olivedos's Abelardo Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Paul Møffelmand in the 87th minute of play. Abel de Godoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nilson Peres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. In the 94th minute Abel de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olivedos's Abelardo Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jardel Baggio in the 95th minute of play. Olivedos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ITAFUT 4EVER for a fine match.
