After 22 minutes of play, Bruce Lee F.C.'s Lauro Carneiro made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Santos was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 25thth minute of the game Zé Augusto do Nascimento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Società Sport Osasco's Samuel Santos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafa Mangueira in the 31st minute of play forced Bruce Lee F.C.'s goalkeeper Iker Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuel Santos made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Sulev Antsov sent off a good shot on target. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chen Jian couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
