Mila Gröhe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nike 武磊, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Capibaribe Stars's Thomás Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elco Das in the 7th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, one of ALTHENTIC F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 26th minute Nike 武磊 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mila Gröhe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Capibaribe Stars's Mihnea Zamfir got a free kick in the 27th minute. Thomás Toscano acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 28th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Claudinei Xavier. After 30 minutes of play, Capibaribe Stars's Nike 武磊 made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mila Gröhe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thomás Toscano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Betão de Medeiros in the 34th minute. A collision led to Capibaribe Stars getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Wilton Fontes hit a great ball. Daniel Sousa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mila Gröhe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarl Rossebø in the 48th minute of play forced ALTHENTIC F.C's goalkeeper Mila Gröhe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Capibaribe Stars were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute, Jarl Rossebø got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Capibaribe Stars's Jarl Rossebø got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Sousa took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mila Gröhe. Mila Gröhe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Daniel Sousa succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 66th playminute. Betão de Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ALTHENTIC F.C's Tor-Henrik Vika got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Sousa got free with Mila Gröhe in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th minute Daniel Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mila Gröhe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Capibaribe Stars eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
