The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by 罗树夕 in the 3rd minute of play forced Miau Stars's goalkeeper Abdulkadir Eraslan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute of the match, Ronaldo Fenomeno got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edinho Neto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 8th minute of the match Miau Stars got a corner. Gremengo FCCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marco Veremundo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Marco Veremundo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gremengo FCCMZ's Edinho Neto did a great save. With a little luck, Gremengo FCCMZ's Edinho Neto got control of the ball when Ronaldo Fenomeno tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miau Stars's Abdulkadir Eraslan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Gere in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute Gremengo FCCMZ were awarded a corner. Leonardo Macedo went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 18th minute of the game Vinícius de Brito made a throw-in which Cafu Barral played forward. In the 19th match minute, Gremengo FCCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. From close distance Ronaldo Fenomeno pressed in the 1-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 21 minutes into the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Ronaldo Fenomeno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miau Stars's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldo Fenomeno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edinho Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 31 played minutes Gremengo FCCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Hoffmann. Anton Bröms charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anton Bröms the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd match minute, Miau Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Bröms to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gremengo FCCMZ's goalkeeper Edinho Neto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Ronaldo Fenomeno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 46th minute of play forced Gremengo FCCMZ's goalkeeper Edinho Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teofilo Yerro made a kick off. Ronaldo Fenomeno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edinho Neto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute of the match Miau Stars got a corner. Gremengo FCCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marco Veremundo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Miau Stars's Kenneth Knutsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Edinho Neto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ronaldo Fenomeno hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Ronaldo Fenomeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edinho Neto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ronaldo Fenomeno might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edinho Neto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronaldo Fenomeno ran back to his position shaking his head. Edinho Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 59th minute of play. Ronaldo Fenomeno might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edinho Neto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronaldo Fenomeno ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 62nd minute Ronaldo Fenomeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldo Fenomeno scored 3-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edinho Neto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Miau Stars made a substitution. Edmílson Arantes replaced Olavo Mota. After some careless play in the Gremengo FCCMZ defense, Ronaldo Fenomeno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edinho Neto. The Gremengo FCCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edinho Neto should have stopped the shot. Raphael Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Miau Stars's Edmílson Arantes got a free kick in the 79th minute. Edinho Neto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flavinho Sousa went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Palmer Akers kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Miau Stars walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
