The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Esteban Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Robbie Ijksma could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerard Daamen in the 11th minute. A.J. Reitsma made in the 13th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gerard Daamen. In the 16th match minute, Boca Gregorian Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfried Westerhof to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the game, Emanuel Ocampo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boca Gregorian Juniors the free kick. In the 20th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Ocampo to maneuver through the defense. Robbie Ijksma, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sébastien Haller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sébastien Haller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Demy Salens sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Sébastien Haller managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Gregorian Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Sébastien Haller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerard Daamen in the 30th minute. Honduras's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Sébastien Haller scored to the left of an out of position Lautaro Navarro, making the score, 1-0. In the 35th minute, Ivan Navarro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute Sébastien Haller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Boca Gregorian Juniors getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Demy Salens hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sébastien Haller was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Boca Gregorian Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Wim Oldenborger. When Luo Ran fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boca Gregorian Juniors's protests and gave Luo Ran a yellow card for diving instead. Luo Ran hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demy Salens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Wim Oldenborger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demy Salens in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Domenech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Sébastien Haller came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Boca Gregorian Juniors fully deserved thier win.
