But to his dismay, Tadeusz Poling quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wladyslaw Fleischer, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 53 minutes, Alan Campos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paraguay and the Cielii FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee ignored Cielii FC's protests and gave Sylwester Klawki a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute, Wladyslaw Fleischer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96thth minute of the game Wladyslaw Fleischer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cielii FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Paraguay's much stronger midfield.
