Robert Davison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Sportivo Luan Toro's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Robert Davison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Davison showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 18th minute of the match. Marcial Iigo kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robert Davison saved Sportivo Luan Toro from getting behind. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robert Davison. Robert Davison dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 37th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Davison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robert Davison was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Jo Barone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Sportivo Luan Toro's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Julian Murillo scored to the left of an out of position Robert Davison, making the score, 0-3. Sportivo Luan Toro made a substitution. Ricardo Mendez replaced Jo Barone. Sportivo Luan Toro's Justino Roland was substituted for Alberto Fidencio. Robert Davison showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 68th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Martins Palermo came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Mendez in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Sportivo Luan Toro's goalkeeper Robert Davison had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. After 81 minutes of play, Peru's Milagros Fraga made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robert Davison was left in no man's land by his defense there! Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. In the 89th minute, Rafael Gallo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Mendez came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Peru had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
