The referee ignored Quetzal Flyers Hammers's protests and gave Mark Noble a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute, Mark Noble hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Sonny Perkins sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 48th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 50th minute, when Sonny Perkins sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Sonny Perkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco Marines having to interfere. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Sonny Perkins kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Sonny Perkins got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71stth minute of the game Sonny Perkins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sonny Perkins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Sonny Perkins fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sonny Perkins in the 77th minute of play. Sonny Perkins might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sonny Perkins ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sonny Perkins, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 95 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Sonny Perkins came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Sonny Perkins sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Quetzal Flyers Hammers had played much better football throughout.
