Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 16th minute, Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Andrei Gil got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Antonio Recio sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Lautaro Navarro threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Antonio Recio this time. In the 29th minute, Andrei Gil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 37th minute, Esteban Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Lautaro Navarro however easily saved by the left post. Claudio Aznar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Tafalla in the 44th minute of the match. Antero Vadillos charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antero Vadillos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th match minute, Club Deportivo O IRIXO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antero Vadillos to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrei Gil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Andrei Gil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Andrei Gil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. With his leg Claudio Aznar managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Honduras's Sebastian Villa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 66 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Ocampo. After having played for 67 minutes, Antonio Recio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonio Recio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 68 played minutes Club Deportivo O IRIXO got a freekick which was hit by Andrei Gil. Claudio Aznar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 69th minute of the match. Claudio Aznar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 72nd minute of play. After 76 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Villa. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Recio, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo O IRIXO's goalkeeper Claudio Aznar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. With an all-out effort, Honduras's Claudio Aznar threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edmundo Espiga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Josu Pabon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez in the 89th minute of the match. Luca Espinar hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Honduras's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
