Barnaba Lamczyk took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 8th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francis Calmes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th match minute, Ekipa Gabi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iwan Witwicki to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Ekipa Gabi's Barnaba Lamczyk fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a Ekipa Gabi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Salvador Gisbert's late challenge caught a Ekipa Gabi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salvador Gisbert helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Gisbert. Barnaba Lamczyk did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant 21 minutes into the match. Barnaba Lamczyk struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ekipa Gabi. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francis Calmes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ekipa Gabi's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francis Calmes came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zachary Pankowski got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francis Calmes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 37th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francis Calmes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francis Calmes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Barnaba Lamczyk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Patricio Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francis Calmes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 53 minutes into the match, Barnaba Lamczyk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barnaba Lamczyk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Iwan Witwicki kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francis Calmes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnaba Lamczyk in the 64th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francis Calmes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Francis Calmes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ekipa Gabi's Iwan Witwicki got a free kick in the 74th minute. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Ekipa Gabi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Marko didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Ekipa Gabi's Francis Calmes. Francis Calmes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Francis Calmes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Barnaba Lamczyk in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
