This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Jonathan Ferrant as he didn't even see the shot coming. 12 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damaso Orlin. Damaso Orlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Songur Yoran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Songur Yoran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Orlin in the 24th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Arsenal FC's corner Edvard Pihl fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 29th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damaso Orlin in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Damaso Orlin sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 34 minutes, Matthias Löfgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arsenal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matthias Löfgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 37th minute of play forced Arsenal FC's goalkeeper Songur Yoran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damaso Orlin in the 42nd minute. 47 minutes into the match, Damaso Orlin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damaso Orlin made a kick off. Frands Thygelund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Damaso Orlin sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. 61 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Orlin came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Orlin came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Arsenal FC's Songur Yoran got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arsenal FC made a substitution. Einar Hedström replaced Teodosio Figueroa. The throw-in from Einar Hedström in the 83rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. 84 minutes into the game, Arsenal FC's Damaso Orlin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Forsberg in the 91st minute of play. John Forsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Arsenal FC fully deserved thier win.
