Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. Damaso Orlin took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Illescas during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Löfgren in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute Arsenal FC were awarded a corner. Edvard Pihl went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Arsenal FC's Edvard Pihl to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 31st minute Damaso Orlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damaso Orlin in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Teodosio Figueroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, John Forsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arsenal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but John Forsberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Venezuela players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Arsenal FC were winning 0-1.

The audience was convinced that Damaso Orlin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 70th minute of play forced Arsenal FC's goalkeeper Songur Yoran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute Damaso Orlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Orlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edvard Pihl. Arsenal FC's Einar Hedström was substituted for Teodosio Figueroa. Edvard Pihl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Arsenal FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Venezuela.
