The Gallito Pisador CDM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Paublo should have stopped the shot. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Julio Roca kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Leoz to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Julio Roca put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dante Lacasa. The supporters of Gallito Pisador CDM booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Paublo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Paublo having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julio Roca to make the kick off. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Farias in the 54th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luca Zorita in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Paublo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Gallito Pisador CDM getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Bocho Duro hit a great ball. With a little luck, Gallito Pisador CDM's Bernardo Paublo got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gallito Pisador CDM made a substitution. Joel Izotz replaced Conrado Franco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Roca in the 76th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Paublo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute Marcelo Delgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bocho Duro kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Delgado in the 93rd minute of play.
