Dinamo Colorado's players were relieved. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Seco in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabrício Negri saved Dinamo Colorado from getting behind. Fabinho Netto hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabrício Negri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
