Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off. Valentín Carvallo made in the 5th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Tribos 4EVER's Jardel Messias. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Luca Espinar hit a great ball. When Gustavo Gol fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tribos 4EVER's protests and gave Gustavo Gol a yellow card for diving instead. Edmundo Espiga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edvin van der Saar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. The throw-in from Jardel Messias in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. After 30 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Milagros Cabal. Edvin van der Saar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 33rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edvin van der Saar was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Gustavo Gol got his second yellow card in the match during the 39th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 40 played minutes Tribos 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Gol. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

A collision led to Tribos 4EVER getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Jardel Messias hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Cristiano Faria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin van der Saar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honduras were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Tribos 4EVER's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edmundo Espiga took the corner. Honduras's Christian Sancho was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edvin van der Saar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Honduras booed when Tribos 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iwo Kalak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jardel Messias in the 80 minute of the game. Cristiano Faria scored 1-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Luca Espinar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
