Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joseph Holmberg went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Joseph Holmberg had several of the Costa Rica's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 34 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 6-0 score and a disappointed Benito Sanz as he didn't even see the shot coming. The throw-in from Efrain Moruga in the 37th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Samba Fotboll U21's Wictor Gustavsson. Samba Fotboll U21's Sam Yang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Puig in the 39th minute of play. Costa Rica were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Samba Fotboll U21's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Tasis took the corner. The corner led Costa Rica's Axel Tasis to fire away a dangerous shot which Sam Yang despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Jim Meck scored 7-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Efrain Moruga made in the 52nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Samba Fotboll U21's Viktor Sillén. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Zygmunt Koprowski sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. A sloppy throw-in by Efrain Moruga in the 72nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Samba Fotboll U21's Wictor Gustavsson.
