Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Charlie Boström made the kick off which started today's match. 2 minutes into the match, A.A. Francana's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Renan Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 3rd minute of the match Mexico got a corner. A.A. Francana's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 5th minute of play forced A.A. Francana's goalkeeper Renan Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Facundo Cadaval kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renan Melo. Renan Melo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The supporters of A.A. Francana booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliott Bergsten in the 17th minute of play. With his leg Dante Lacasa managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when A.A. Francana's Charlie Boström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charlie Boström in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Koenig in the 28th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renan Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Renan Melo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elliott Bergsten in the 33rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Renan Melo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Mexico were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Renan Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 52nd minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Renan Melo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Renan Melo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Renan Melo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliott Bergsten in the 66th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Renan Melo in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roman Koenig took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elliott Bergsten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 90 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Facundo Cadaval. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Secco in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, A.A. Francana's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Renan Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Mexico players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented A.A. Francana from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
