Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Saverio Orlin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 11th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Galeno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matthew Garrido kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla was a little too slow when Saverio Orlin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-0. 18 minutes into the game, Panama's Tomas Berganza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mariano Galeno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Miguel Miralles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 26 played minutes Belloco got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Gomesano. 29 minutes into the match, Belloco's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Mariano Galeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Orlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When Domingos Bemabe was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 67 minutes had been played. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Panama players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
