Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes, Eliseo Noboa mouthed his way into the referee's book. Serkan Batıhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batıkan Sarper in the 6th minute of play. Batıkan Sarper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serkan Batıhan in the 11th minute. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serkan Batıhan in the 13th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Batıkan Sarper made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Menderes Uluç in the 28th minute of the match. If Batıkan Sarper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. 41 minutes into the game, Batıkan Sarper recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Batıkan Sarper showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 43rd minute, Korhan Özerol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of !!!SERDİVAN REVISION CLUP booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Göktuğ Öztekin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Göktuğ Öztekin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Batıkan Sarper to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Menderes Uluç sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serkan Batıhan's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. The audience was convinced that Batıkan Sarper's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. 62 minutes into the game, Batıkan Sarper cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0.
