Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Jofurs Drängar's Alfons Helström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christer Vallman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfons Helström. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Alfons Helström sent off a good shot on target. Christer Vallman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 12th minute of play. After 15 minutes, Tomas Illescas made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Jofurs Drängar's Christer Vallman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute Alfons Helström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Arne Rosén came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Jofurs Drängar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arne Rosén couldn't finish the play. After 30 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christer Vallman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Christer Vallman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Alfons Helström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 1-4. After some careless play in the Jofurs Drängar defense, Patricio Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christer Vallman. The Jofurs Drängar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christer Vallman should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Venezuela's Patricio Costa suffered a concussion in the 55th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Henric Alstedt hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the game, Conny Myr was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jofurs Drängar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jofurs Drängar! Roberto Ocampo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Vallman having to interfere. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 67th minute, Tony Lange ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6. Roberto Ocampo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tomas Illescas had several of the Jofurs Drängar's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 72 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-7 score and a disappointed Christer Vallman as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 77th match minute, Jofurs Drängar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zebastian Abelsson to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Christer Vallman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 89th minute, Alfons Helström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th minute, Venezuela's Roberto Ocampo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-10. Venezuela's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
