After 2 played minutes Masters United F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Cuarto. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hans-Martin Istad's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Masters United F.C. were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Colombia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anselmo Ted took the corner. The supporters of Masters United F.C. booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Mastache didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florencio Rafe. In the 17th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Mastache to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Florencio Rafe reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedro Manzanares. The goal made the score 1-0. When Colombia's Axel Montenegro in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 34th minute of play forced Masters United F.C.'s goalkeeper Enrique Bologna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Bologna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Masters United F.C.'s Enrique Bologna. Enrique Bologna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 42nd minute, Santino Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Indiano to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hans-Martin Istad made a kick off. With his leg Enrique Bologna managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Colombia's Axel Montenegro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 56 minutes into the match, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrique Bologna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Masters United F.C. made a substitution. Herminio Frantzes replaced Celso Hotz. In the 58th minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Axel Montenegro went to the cornerflag to take it. Luis Cazalla was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Axel Montenegro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Enrique Bologna when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Enrique Bologna successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Teofilio in the 65th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Masters United F.C.'s Herminio Frantzes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. In the 76th minute, Saverio Teofilio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Masters United F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Masters United F.C.'s goalkeeper Enrique Bologna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Abram Secada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Enrique Bologna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abram Secada in the 88th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Luis Cazalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Masters United F.C. had won after a very even match.
