Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Behzat Betim, made in the 45th minute of the game. Orhan Seyfi Uruç was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Valentín Carvallo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valentín Carvallo really showed his touch with that goal: 7-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
