In the 12th match minute, CD.AUKINKO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Miguel Palazuelos to maneuver through the defense. After 18 played minutes CD.AUKINKO got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Bazan. Thanks to some nice moves Eliseo Noboa could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Arnaldo Delpiano however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when CD.AUKINKO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Bazan didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnaldo Delpiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Costa Rica fans cheered their team off the field, for while CD.AUKINKO had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
