Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Berganza to make the kick off. Felipe Ros's late challenge caught a Tribos 4EVER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipe Ros helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Panama's Felipe Ros got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After having played for 84 minutes, Ronaldo Saldanha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tribos 4EVER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldo Saldanha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Miguel Miralles got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 95 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Panama's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
